Gossip girl comes to Life

This is going to be a long one, so strap in your seat belts ladies and gentlemen. I went into NYC with my friends Courtney and Kristen for Kristen's 16 bday!!

1st stop: train station- We had a fun ride over and experienced lots of new smells while taking the subway...

2nd stop: DRY BAR- this place was so cool.
It doesn't do cuts or color; only awesome blowouts. We obviously needed to primp for our tour of the city and this was a perfect chic place to do it! We all went for curlyish hairdos because it was so windy today!
I'm not going to lie, I LOVED Kristen's hair (she is in the middle) because it had beautiful waves. Mine was a little too ringlet, Shirley Temple, for my liking but it was still so fun to experiment!

3rd stop: Shops near the High Line. There is a bonus to going on a freezing saturday because there is barely anyone around! The stores we were browsing in were ridiculously expensive but it was fun to act like supermodels, (ESPECIALLY SERENA VANDERWOODSEN)trying all the 1,000 dollar dresses and heels on!! At this one boutique we were the only ones there so we were able to go all out and the employees were nice enough to tolerate our craziness haha.

4th stop: Standard Grill: The food here was TO DIE FOR! I never took a picture of it so you are just going to have to trust me :)

A quick stop at Urban outfitters and then back to Grand Central concluded our fun, busy day and left us pooped on the train ride home! It was an amazing day and Im sending a huge happy birthday shoutout to my new fave 16 year old!!
                         XOXO GOSSIP GIRL
(which btw has a whole new meaning because we rocked living like queens in the city... who knows? maybe we will be the next IT girls at Constance Billard...lol jk)
